Cragside Energy Limited (CEL) was launched by the current Managing Director in 2021 and is backed by veteran financier Steven Clark through his Omni group of companies. Steven founded Omni Partners LLP, his London-based, FCA-regulated investment management firm, in 2004. Since then Omni has run a real estate-focused private credit business that has provided more than £1.5 billion of finance into property and real estate. Today Omni manages various private equity funds and continues to serve as a source of capital for business ventures across the UK.
We continue to work collaboratively with Omni. Together we combine CEL’s sector leading renewable development and investment capabilities, with Steven’s entrepreneurial and financial experience, and Omni’s in-house accountancy and finance expertise. This delivers an agile, highly capable, well-funded and expertly governed business that is well equipped to deliver both quality and value.
